We grow two very different lavenders, and picking the wrong one is the most common lavender mistake there is. Here is the short version.

Because we pack it ourselves and it saves us a step. The four items are the same full-size products we sell separately — $9 sachet, $12 hand lotion, $16 Room & Linen mist, $16 bloom sticks. That is $53 of product for $48, and the box, the crinkle paper and the farm card are on us.
Farmhouse is the broad introduction — a bit of everything, for someone who does not know the farm, and it saves $5. Royal Velvet is for someone who already knows they love lavender: the three-wick candle, the single-cultivar Royal Velvet oil, and the roll-on, and it saves $9.

Scale and distance. Most lavender product is blended from bulk oil bought on a commodity market, filled in the thousands. Ours is distilled from our own rows in a copper still on the property and bottled in runs small enough to hand-label in an afternoon. When a batch is gone it is gone until the next harvest.
